I build handcrafted mandolin-family instruments and archtop guitars here in an ideal luthiery climate in the high desert country of Bend, Oregon. I consider myself privileged to be in this occupation, and I believe that my enthusiasm is evident in every instrument I build. My instruments have rapidly become known for the highest attention to detail, exceptional playability, and great sound. My mandolins borrow many elements from the famous old instruments, but I'm not bound by tradition and I am one of many builders working to continue to refine the sound and construction of the modern mandolin.

My work has been featured in Mandolin Magazine, Mel Bay's Mandolin Sessions, Middlebury Magazine, on JazzMando.com, and in the Bend Bulletin Newspaper.
